Configuring Your User Account

You may view and/or modify your user settings, such as:

• Name
• Address information
• Phone number
• Email and text notifications
• Passwords
• Web Services REST API token

View your multi-factor authentication configuration from the Security tab of the Identity dashboard.

Key information:

• The E-mail/Username option serves a dual purpose.

  • It defines the user name through which the MCC may be accessed.

  • It determines the email address to which a variety of email notifications, such as CDN maintenance information and IP address updates, may be sent.

• Sign up for email and/or text messaging notifications through the Notification Settings section of your profile page.

  Type	Description
  Network Status Alerts - CDN Services	This type of notification covers news, maintenance information, issues, and status updates on our CDN services. In addition to our standard CDN services, this type of notification includes portal status, CDN storage, Route, and our Transact network. The recommended method for signing up for this type of notification is to do so through our Network Status page (https://status.edg.io/). Learn more.
  Network Status Alerts - Video Lifecycle Services	This type of notification covers news, maintenance information, issues, and status updates for our Streaming service. The recommended method for signing up for this type of notification is to do so through our Network Status page (https://status.edg.io/). Learn more.
  Product Updates and Releases	This type of notification covers information on new products and updates to existing products.
  Marketing Communications	This type of notification covers product marketing information.

• Although an administrator that has been granted the Edit user administration privilege may modify any user's settings, only a particular user can determine whether he/she would like to receive email notifications or change his/her password.

To update your profile settings

1. Navigate to your profile by clicking View Profile from the user settings menu.

   

2. Click Edit. The options listed within your profile may now be modified.
3. Update the desired settings and then click Save.
